The ECS brand is a demogroup that creates computer audio-visual works. We call these demo(s).
ECS was founded in 1985 by László Nickmann.
In 1985, as a first-year electrical engineering student, I got to know computer technology and programming in the school's Informatics Study Group, which was starting at that time. When I started writing and releasing smaller programs, I decided to do it under a brand name like the big ones. That's when I founded ECS, which consists of the initials of Esztergomi Computer Studio. Later, a couple of guys with similar interests joined me, and we released demos together.
After all these years I took out the old C64 floppies and they are all readable. I also found many programs that I had forgotten I had done. I will archive it now and post it here.
